In short
HomeRoad has no servers and no accounts of its own. Your training data stays on your device, and the app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking.
Data only leaves your device when you connect a service yourself, and then only what that service needs.
What stays on your device
Your routes, workouts, recorded activities (.fit files), paired sensors, dashboards and settings are stored in the app's own storage on your iPhone, iPad or Mac. They are part of your device backups according to your Apple settings, and they are removed when you delete the app.
HomeRoad uses Bluetooth only to talk to your trainer, sensors and controllers. Their identifiers stay on your device.
Services you choose to connect
Each of these works only after you connect it in Settings, and can be disconnected at any time. What they receive is then governed by their own privacy policies.
- Strava: HomeRoad reads your starred segments and your efforts on them to show them during a ride.
- intervals.icu: HomeRoad reads your athlete profile (such as FTP) and your planned workouts, and uploads the activities you record, automatically if you turn that on. Your API key is kept in the device keychain.
- PlanifyRoutes: you sign in with email, Apple or Google. HomeRoad reads your plans and nutrition products and sends back the doses you took during a ride.
- DualAnalyzer: HomeRoad uploads the .fit files of the activities you choose to compare, or automatically if you turn that on.
Purchases
The HomeRoad Pro purchase is handled entirely by Apple. HomeRoad only learns whether the unlock is owned and, to run the free trial, when the app was first downloaded. It never sees any payment details.
This website
This site is hosted by Cloudflare and uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies and collects no personal data, so there is no cookie banner. Cloudflare processes the technical data needed to deliver the pages, such as IP addresses, under its own privacy policy.

If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with a new date. For any question about your privacy, write to the address on the support page.
